The two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reported a rapid hike in the Novel Coronavirus positive cases in the past few days and reached a total of 7,597 till the 5th of June.
The reason behind the sudden increase is said to be the fast checking and shifting of the migrants, relaxation from the lockdown and the opening of the markets.
Although the respective state governments, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) of Telangana and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) of A.P., tightened their security and issued guidelines for people the numbers are not in control.
In the past 24 hours, Telangana reported a total of 129 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus and 7 deaths.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh reported 141 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 3 new deaths.
As of the 5th of June, Telangana has a total of 3,147 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 105 fatalities.
In Andhra Pradesh, the cases are 4,250 with 73 fatalities till the 5th of June.
