Till date, Telangana reported 13 positive cases of the Novel Coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
On the 18th of March, the Health Ministry of Telangana, reported 8 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
In the wake of the deadly virus spreading in the State, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government issued a statement saying that seven of Indonesia’s samples were positive and that they had been kept in isolation from the 16th of March.
To control the situation, the TRS Government took measures to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
Etela Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana said quarantine centers would be set up to accommodate thousands of visitors from abroad.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh State Government also reported two positive cases of COVID-19. Previously, one positive case with a travel history from abroad was confirmed positive in Nellore district. Recently, another case in Ongole of Prakasam district was reported. Meanwhile, a total of 109 blood samples were collected in the State, of which 94 were negative.
The AP State Government also announced shut down for schools and educational institutes in the State till the 31st of March.
