Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams approved annual budget for the year 2024-25 on Monday. Trust board approved Rs.5147.74 crores mark budget. Board announced that this is the first time that the budget crossed the Rs.5000 crores mark in the history of TTD.
Trust board meeting chaired by chairman Bhoomana Karunakar Reddy approved a few key resolutions. Board estimated Rs 1611 crores from the Hundials (collection boxes). The trust is expected to earn Rs.1167 crores in the form of interest from Rs.14,000 crores fixed deposits.
The TTD authorities estimated an income of Rs 338 crores through darshan tickets and Rs. 600 crores through the sale of Laddu and other Prasadams. The board is likely to earn Rs 246.39 crores through loans and advances
Board is likely to pay Rs 1733 crores for human resources (salaries, wages etc). Karunakar Reddy thanked CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the government’s support.
