On the 28th of October, Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, a former member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) wrote another letter to Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP.
The letter was written in response to the letter sent by Chandrababu Naidu. In his letter, Naidu assured Vamsi Mohan the TDP would always support the former Party member.
In his response, Vamsi Mohan thanked Chandrababu Naidu for his concern and support and clarified he is not going to change his decision of resigning from the Party.
Chandrababu Naidu responded to Vamsi Mohan by sending him a WhatsApp message. In the message, Mr. Naidu wrote, “I remember the struggles you had in the past. Party will recognize your services and efforts. I have been in support to you. As a Party, we will fight against the injustice done to you.’
Despite several efforts by Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders, Vamsi is adamant about his decision and has no plans of withdrawing his resignation letter.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu also conducted a meeting with the TDP leaders and discussed the ongoing debate topic—Vamsi Mohan’s resignation. The Party leaders also discussed the future course of action of the Party against the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
Although Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan said he would be away from politics for some time, it is speculated he would soon join the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
However, an official announcement regarding Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan joining the YSRCP is yet to be made.
