Vasireddy Padma, a member of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 26th of August, took oath as the Chairperson of the Women Commission of Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
Taneti Vanitha, the Women and Child Welfare Minister of AP, administered the oath of office to Vasireddy Padma.
During the oath taking ceremony, Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of the AP Assembly, Deputy Chief Ministers (CMs) Pushpa Sreevani, Narayana Swamy, Cabinet ministers Dharmana Krishna Das, Taneti Vanitha and Cherukuvada Sri Ranganatha Raju were present.
Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) R.K. Roja and Members of Parliament (MP) Vanga Geetha, Chinta Anuradha and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the Government Advisor (Public Affairs,) also attended the event.
The YSRCP officials, leaders and ministers congratulated Vasireddy Padma for being appointed the Chairperson of the Women Commission.
Ms. Vanitha will take over her charge soon.
