The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 12th of March, announced its first list of candidates, nominated for the Municipal elections in Visakhapatnam.
The first list of 25 candidates contesting the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) elections were announced by Tourism Minister Avanti Srinivas and YSRCP leader Virabhadra Rao.
Below are the names of the candidates, contesting the GVMC elections:
- Srinivasa Rao -44th Division, Visakhapatnam North.
- Lilavati – 25th Division Visakhapatnam.
- K Satish – 46th Division, Visakhapatnam North.
- Allu Sankararao – 49th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- K Swathi – 9th Division, Visakhapatnam East.
- Harikumar – 11th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- N. Revathi – 15th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Dhanalakshmi – 18th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- N. Lakshmi – 20th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Vamsikrishna – 21st Division, Visakhapatnam.
- P. Govind – 22nd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- G Vijay Sai Reddy – 23rd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- G. Sridhar – 52nd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- D.V. Suresh – 60th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Jyotsna – 91st Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Swarnalatha Siva Devi – 92nd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Nageswara Rao – 40th Division, Visakhapatnam West.
- Sarveshwar Reddy – 27th Division, Visakhapatnam South.
- Narayana Rao – 29th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Bathini Nagaraju- 31st Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Ramareddy – 32nd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Bachinapalli Lakshmi – 33rd Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Kanakanath Reddy – 35th Division , Visakhapatnam.
- Vaddadi Raju – 37th Division, Visakhapatnam.
- Satyarupa Vani – 38th Division, Visakhapatnam.

The GVMC elections are scheduled to be held on the 23rd of March 2020. The major parties contesting the elections are the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the YSRCP and the grand alliance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the JanaSena Party.
