Kakinada: YSRCP Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar’s comments about the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh sparked controversy. Dwarampudi said that he wishes to see a Christian (YS Jagan) as chief minister of the state once again.
Chandrasekhar Reddy recently participated in Pre-Christmas celebrations at Mechlarin grounds locally and expressed that he wished to see a Christian as chief minister again. “YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is needed to strengthen Christianity. Pastors in the state know it better. We should elect Jagan Mohan Reddy once again to strengthen Christianity. I have been elected as MLA with the blessings of Jesus and Christian fraternity,” Reddy said.
The video went viral in digital media platforms, which sparked a new controversy. Hindu associations mainly Hindu Yuva Shakti (HYS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said that the comments of Chandrasekhar Reddy exposed the hidden agenda in the state. The HYS demanded the MLA to withdraw his comments.
