Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 25th of September, conducted a meeting with bankers of the State in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
During the meeting, Jagan Mohan Reddy discussed the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, waiver on farmer loans and the loan sanction amount with low interest rates in AP.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired the meeting, which was attended by State level bankers.
Jagan even asked the bankers not to create problems for farmers by asking them to repay the debts and said the State Government will pay the loan amount under the loan waiver scheme.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government was scheduled to implement the Rythu Bharosa scheme from the 8th of October. However, due to unknown reasons, the implementation would be delayed until further announcement.
Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the State Government will give Rs. 6,500, along with Rs. 6,000 approved by the Central Government. The beneficiaries of the scheme will get a total of Rs. 12,500.
An official announcement regarding the implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme is yet to be made.
