Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 30th of July, met Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the Governor of AP.
The meeting took place at 4:00 P.M., after the AP Budget Session ended. During the meeting, Y.S. Jagan gave a detailed idea about the Assembly session.
Jagan also discussed a few issues of the State and the bills passed, including the bill about 75 % job reservation to the citizens of AP in the State industries.
After the swearing ceremony of Biswa Bhusan Harichandan as the Governor of AP, this was the first official meeting of Y.S. Jagan and Biswa Bhusan.
During the meeting, Jagan also gave a brief idea about his ‘Navaratnalu’ scheme and other schemes launched by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government.
The Chief Minister of AP also shared his views about establishing a corruption free and transparent Government. Reddy also told Governor Harichandan about his foreign trip.
The meeting ended with a detailed discussion about the situation of AP and the plans of the Government for the people of AP. Jagan also presented a wooden idol of Lord Sri Venkateswara to the Governor upon their first formal meeting.
