Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 26th of May, Friday, distributed the house site pattas to the underprivileged people.
The distribution ceremony was held at R-5 Zone at Venkatapalem of Thullur in Guntur. Approximately 50,000 poor families would get the house site pattas, in as many as 25 layouts spread over 1,042 crores.
During the distribution event, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “They have taken up this massive program after overcoming all the legal hurdles and termed it as the victory of the poor.”

The construction of the house pattas would have basic infrastructure along with Geo tagging. In addition, to the families, who wish to construct their own hours, on the given site pattas, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government would deposit an amount of Rs. 1.80 lakhs in the bank accounts of the eligible underprivileged people. In another option, the YSRCP Government could also deposit the construction labor amount and provide free sand, Steel, cement, door frames available on subsidy, assuring no compromise with the quality of the material.
