Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, returned to Andhra Pradesh, on the 30th of March, Thursday. His Delhi tour which started on the 29th of March, was packed with events like meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers.
As part of his visit to Delhi, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India. During the meeting with Mr. Amit Shah, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister discussed many issues related to the development of the Telugu State.
Regarding the Delhi tour, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office highlighted some key points. During the meeting with the Union Home Minister, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy discussed the bifurcation issues, severe loss in terms of economy, income, development and form of various institutions due to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in 2014.
Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also spoke about the promises which the Central Government made during the 2014 bifurcation. He said, “Even though it has been 9 years since the partition, many things are still pending for the state.”
During the crucial meeting with Mr. Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reminded the Government of India to pay attention and take action immediately.
Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy returned to his Tadepalli residence on the afternoon of the 30th of March, Thursday.
