Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to visit Palanadu district, on the 6th of April, Thursday.
The visit to Lingamguntla region of Chilakaluripet Mandal would mark the official start of the most awaited initiative of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Party (YSRCP) Government. Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would officially start the ‘Family Doctor Concept’ under the Andhra Pradesh Government.
In 2022, the ruling YSRCP Government announced their plan to have a family physician system to enhance the healthcare system of Andhra Pradesh. The State Government also clarified that the new system, when implemented, would be an additional benefit to beneficiaries of the Aarogyasri Scheme. Those treated and discharged under Aarogyasri Scheme would get additional medical services through this family physician or family doctor system. The services would have online doctors and would receive complaints regarding unsatisfied treatments under the Aarogyasri Scheme by hospitals and other benefits in the health sector.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO,) Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would address a public meeting to be organized in Kavuru village. Furthermore, after inspecting the scheme and addressing the public rally, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would return to Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh.
