The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is conducting the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Winter Assembly session, on the 9th of December.
All the 175 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) YSRCP Officials and Cabinet ministers are present in the Assembly session to discuss various issues in Andhra Pradesh.
Recently, N. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) conducted a meeting with the Party MLAs and briefed them about the issues to be raised.
According to sources, The Telugu Desam Legislative Party (TDLP) MLAs are expected to raise 21 issues in the session. These issues include a hike in the prices of onions and essential commodities, false cases against TDP leaders, suicides of building and construction workers due to the sand crisis in AP and the bifurcation issues.
Other issues which would be discussed are irregularities in recruitment of village or ward secretariats and volunteers, non payment of 4th and 5th instalments of the Crop Redemption Scheme to farmers, power cuts, selling of government lands in the name of ‘Build AP’ agenda, the economic situation, stopping development works in Amaravati, restrictions on the media and others.
On the other hand, the YSRCP would discuss seasonal diseases, the pending projects, new constructions and the Polavaram Project during the Winter session.
Apart from this, women’s security would also be a major discussion in the AP Assembly session on the first day.
The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Winter session began at 9:30 A.M., today.
