Mr.Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Minister responded to the withdrawal of the three Capitals Bill, proposed in 2020.
Hours after the big announcement, Mr. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy addressed the media and said, “We will abide by whatever decision the Government takes, however, it is not yet over.” Speaking about the decision of the State Government, the minister said, the decision was taken due to certain legal issues and the YSRCP Government would come up with amendments and changes in the law.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kodali Nani, another YSRCP Minister also responded to the same issue and said that some have gone to court and created obstacles. He said the Amaravati issue was discussed in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet and said the cabinet decision.
It is to be noted, the Advocate General representing the YSRCP Government told the Andhra Pradesh High Court that the three capitals bill was being withdrawn.
Meanwhile, the full details on the three capitals would be revealed in the assembly by Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
