The Trinamool Congress (TMC,) on the 4th of April, launched a music video for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal.

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal and the President of the TMC, shared the music video on all her Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts.

The 2 and a half minute video spreads the message of harmony, peace and progress in West Bengal. Ms. Banerjee expressed her happiness while sharing the music video and said, “I am very happy to share the new music video Maa, Mati, Manush for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.”

The TMC, which is against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recently launched a web series targeting the Modi led BJP.

The web series, titled Pradhan Mantri Hisab Do, criticises all the welfare schemes launched by Modi and his Government and could be a setback for the BJP during the time of elections.

The TMC is holding several public rallies and public meetings to attract the voters in West Bengal, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

West Bengal will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in all the 7 phases, for a total of 42 seats. The elections are scheduled on the 11th of April, 18th of April, 23rd of April, 29th of April, 6th of May, 12th of May and the 19th of May.

The major parties contesting the West Bengal Lok Sabha elections are the TMC, the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
