On the 23rd of February, Wednesday, the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, reported a decline.  Continuing the decreasing trend of the Wuhan virus cases, Andhra Pradesh reported below 300 cases in the past 24 hours.

According to the health bulletin released on the evening of Sunday, the State confirmed 253 fresh Coronavirus cases taking the total tally to  23,16,964 cases across the state.

In addition, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department confirmed 2 deaths and 635 new recovered/discharged cases.  With this, there are 22,97,065 recoveries and 14,718 death cases due to the Wuhan virus till date.  Also, with the new cases there are currently 5,181 active cases.

According to district wise data, Guntur district reported 40 new infections, followed By East Godavari 39, west Godavari (37) and Anantapur and Chittoor, 27 each.  In addition, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram reported lowest 1 and 2 cases, respectively. 

The aforementioned cases were confirmed after conducting 19,432 tests for the Wuhan virus, taking the tally to 3.30 crores (3,30,30,124.)
