India’s Novel Coronavirus Cases Witness Another Spike Of 28,701 In Last 24 Hours, Tally At 8.78 Lakhs

On the 14th of July, the official website of the Union Ministry of Health And Family Welfare, confirmed over 28,000 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The Country is witnessing a massive rise in single day cases, taking the total Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases to 9,06,752.

On the morning of the 13th of July, India witnessed 28,498 new cases of the deadly virus.

Since the deadly virus broke out in India, it is the 5th consecutive day, the Country reported a single day spike of over 25,000 cases.

With these updates, till the 13th of July, India has 9,06,752 total positive cases, of these, 3,11,565 are active cases, 5,71,460 have been declared as cured or discharged.

Meanwhile, the number of deceased cases recorded till date are 23,727

Though the number of cases are increasing with the lightening speed, the number of recoveries are also higher than the active cases.

Currently, the recovery rate of the Novel Coronavirus in India is 63 % from the previous 62%.

Meanwhile, Health Minister of India, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, denied community transmission, the third stage of the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

In regard to every day spike, the Indian Government is planning to conduct a survey to determine the exposure of the virus and curb the spread by breaking the chain.

On the other hand, Maharashtra still remains the worst COVID-19 hit Indian State, followed by Tamil Nadu.

The National Capital Delhi also is the worst Coronavirus hit region of India.

Maharashtra has 2,60,924 cases of the COVID-19 infection, Tamil Nadu has 1,42,798 cases and Delhi has 1,13,740 cases.

Meanwhile, globally the deadly virus infected as many as 13,229,692 people and claimed 574,981 lives till the 14th of July.
