The Wuhan Virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) concern is rising with every passing day.
On the 29th of December, Thursday, two international passengers were tested positive for the Wuhan Virus, at the Mumbai International Airport. Both samples have been sent for genome sequencing, confirmed the Maharashtra Health Department. The cases were confirmed after the Maharashtra Government conducted random testing at the Mumbai International Airport, which resulted in COVID-19 positive cases.
Moreover, on the 29th of December, the Maharashtra Health Department confirmed a rise in COVID-19 cases with 32% jump in everyday cases of the Wuhan Virus.
Meanwhile, after the massive rise in COVID-19 cases globally, the Indian Health Department and respective state governments took precautionary measures and ensured to work on the COVID-19 infections combat.
In many regions of India, state governments mandated mask wearing and social distancing in public places, especially when the nation is set to celebrate New Year.
