The Union Ministry of Health, on the 13th of January, said, India reported 2,47,417 new Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
In addition, on Thursday, the nation also registered 84,825 recoveries, and 481 deaths in the last 24 hours. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) the cases registered today is 27% higher than the cases reported on the 12th of January. On Wednesday, India reported 1.94 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, India’s Omicron tally has climbed to 5,488. Reportedly, Maharashtra reported 1,367 Omicron cases and Delhi (549.)
In addition, the daily positivity rate in the country stands at 13.11%. Notably, India administered 153 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses to people.
