K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, fully recovered from the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

On the evening of the 4th of May, the RT PCR test results of KCR came back negative.  The  news of the complete recovery of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President being COVID-19 recovered was confirmed by his personal physician.  On the 5th of May, Dr. M.V. Rao, the personal physician of KCR said, his blood tests are normal and  he has fully recovered from the deadly infection.

Later, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO)  also released an official notification regarding the same. 

On the 28th of April, KCR took the rapid test for the Novel Coronavirus, at his farm house and was reported negative.  However, besides a rapid test, the doctor’s team conducted a COVID-19 RT PCR test.   The result of the RT PCR (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction test) to assure the results. 

With this KCR is doing fine and is absolutely fit.  On the other hand, his son and the Working President of the TRS K.T. Rama Rao is still COVID-19 positive and is under home isolation. 

Mr. KTR tested positive for the virus, three days after KCR (19th of April) reported COVID-19 positive.  On the 23rd of April, KTR confirmed being COVID-19 positive. 

Meanwhile, KCR is likely to resume charge of the office in a couple of days.
