PM Modi To Interact With Three Teams Involved In Production Of COVID-19 Vaccine 

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is scheduled to interact with three teams that are involved in developing a vaccine for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The interaction came a day after Mr. Modi visited Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad to review the progress of the COVID-19 vaccine development.

On the 28th of November, Mr. Modi visited Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune respectively to review the COVID-19 vaccine progress.

The Prime Minister’s Office on the evening of the 29th of November took to Twitter and confirmed the same. The tweet read, “Tomorrow, on 30th November 2020, PM @narendramodi will interact, via video conferencing, with three teams that are involved in developing a COVID-19 vaccine. The teams he will interact with are from Gennova Biopharma, Biological E and Dr. Reddy’s.”

The interaction is said to be significant especially, when India crossed 9.3 million cases of the Novel Coronavirus.

On the 29th of November, India reported 41,810 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 93,92,920.

The data was updated by the Union Health Ministry and is available on the official website of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.)
