K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
On the 19th of April, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed the news through a press release. According to the release, the Telangana CM tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. He is currently under self isolation at home. However, Mr. Rao, the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is having mild symptoms of COVID-19 and is being treated by a team of doctors.
The CMO also suggested people coming in contact with KCR to take COVID-19 test and quarantine themselves.
