Telangana’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases crossed 2.77 lakhs with 635 fresh cases.
The State Health Department confirmed 635 new cases and 4 deaths.
The State Government’s health media bulletin releases on a regular basis to provide details of the COVID-19 situation.
The last release provided information of COVID-19 situation in the State till 8:00 P.M., on the 11th of December. The media bulletin was released on the morning of the 12th of December
As per the released media bulletin, the State has 2,77,151 positive cases, 2,67,992 recovered/discharged cases and 1,489 deaths due to the COVID-19 infection till date.
Of the total new cases, the highest number has been from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 141 cases, followed by Rangareddy with 76 cases and Medchal Malkajgiri with 72 cases.
In addition to the cases, the media release also informed about the number of samples tested for COVID-19.
In the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted as many as 52,308 sample tests.
With this, cumulatively the State conducted more than 60.81 lakh sample tests for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Telangana’s COVID-19 recovery rate is 96.69 % and fatality rate is 0.53 %.
