On Thursday, the 25th of November, Telangana reported 147 new cases of the Wuhan virus(COVID-19.) Besides new cases, the State witnessed 1 death and 148 recoveries.
The new cases were confirmed by conducting 33,836 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. The Telangana State Health Department conducted the fewer number of COVID-19 tests, compared to the usual 40,000 to 42,000 tests. With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2.84 crores (2,84,17,448) COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports the highest number of cases. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 56 new COVID-19 cases. Other districts which reported cases in double digits are: Rangareddy (12) and Karimnagar (11.) Of the total 33 districts, the majority of regions reported cases below 10.
With this, Telangana now has 6,75,148 positive cases, of which 3,531 are active cases, 6,67,631 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,986 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.88 % and the fatality rate of COVID-19 is at 0.59 %.
