The number of Wuhan Virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, are decreasing in Telangana. In the past 24 hours, the State reported 1,417 new COVID-19 cases, 12 fatalities and 1,897 recoveries
The updated COVID-19 figures were confirmed through a health bulletin released on the night of the 18th of June, Friday. According to the health bulletin, the Telangana medical department conducted as many as 1,24,430 sample tests for COVID-19, of which 1,417 tested positive.
While Telangana is witnessing a decline in COVID-19 cases, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation still remains the region with the highest number of single day cases with 149 cases, followed by Rangareddy (104) and Khammam (93.)
With this, till date, Telangana has 6,10,834 positive cases, of which 5,88,259 are recovered/discharged cases, 19,029 active cases and 3,546 death cases.
Meanwhile, the State administered 86.9 lakh doses of both first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. With this, the State is expecting to complete an administration of 1 crore COVID-19 doses in July.
