The Telangana Health department confirmed a total of 55,532 cases of the Novel Coronavirus till the 27th of July.
According to the released media bulletin, Till 8:00 A.M., of the 27th of July, the State recorded 1,473 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
With these updates, Telangana has 12,956 active cases, 42,106 recovered/discharged cases and 471 deceased.
Despite a daily spike in the COVID-19 cases, Telangana has 76.46 % recovery rate, 2.04 % average growth of the COVID-19 cases, 0.87 % mortality rate and 22.69 % active cases rate.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) Rangareddy and Medchal- Malkajgiri reported highest cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
The State Government is also asking people not to venture out, especially in Hyderabad without any emergency. The Hyderabad police are also on duty, helping people with their efforts so, they could help the citizens of Telangana to stay home.
In addition, till date, the Telangana health authorities conducted 3,53,425 sample tests for COVID-19.
The total population of Telangana stands at 3,72,20,000.
