On Friday, the 12th of November, Telangana reported 172 new cases with two deaths and 167 recoveries.
The new cases were confirmed by conducting 39,804 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. This is the third consecutive day that the State Health Department conducted fewer than 40,000 tests for COVID-19. With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2.79 crores (2,79,90,511) COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports more than 51 cases regularly. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 50 new COVID-19 cases.
With this, Telangana now has 6,73,312 positive cases, of which 3,741 are active cases, 6,65,599 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,972 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
