Tollywood actor Ram Charan tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection.
On the 29th of December, Mr. Charan took to Twitter and confirmed being COVID-19 positive.
In his tweet, Ram Charan said, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. No symptoms and quarantined at home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger.”
In his tweet he also requested people who came in contact with him to undergo COVID-19 tests. He said, “Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon.”
The news of Ram Charan being COVID-19 positive came after his surprise visit to the sets of Acharya.
On the 28th of December, Ram Charan visited his father Chiranjeevi on the sets of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Acharya.
Ram Charan met the film’s director Koratala Siva and the film’s production designer Suresh Selvarajan. Suresh had posted some pictures too.
Earlier this month, Ram Charan along with his wife Upasana, Chiranjeevi and other close family members including Allu Arjun, went to Udaipur for the destination wedding of actor Niharika Konidela.
The actor is currently working on S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming project RRR. Ram Charan did shoot for RRR till the 22nd of December.
As of now, Ram Charan is asymptomatic and stable. He is under home isolation.
