Hyderabad: The two mega films – “Baahubali 2” and “Enthiran 2” are gearing up to clash at the box office in 2017. If reports are to believed, both the movies will hit silver screens on the same day, April 17, 2017.
Recently, the movie makers of film “Baahubali 2” announced that they will release the picture on April 17 and now it is heard that the filmmakers of “2.0” are also planning to release the movie on the same day, on the Tamil New Year.
On the other hand, film trade analysts refuted all such reports saying that the films cannot be released on the same day because of the lack of screens. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
The Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama “Baahubali 2”, which is a sequel of blockbuster hit “Baahubali”, is one of the most-anticipated films. Being directed by SS Rajamouli, the film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and others in major roles.
Directed by Shankar, “Enthiran 2” stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in prominent roles. Touted to be a science fiction, the movie is a sequel to super hit flick “Enthiran”.
