Actor Aamir Khan Adopts 2 Drought-Hit Villages In Maharashtra

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has adopted two drought-hit villages – Koregaon and Tal in Maharashtra. Recently, he visited the drought-hit villages of Maharashtra and then adopted the most adversely affected villages.

Earlier, the actor also adopted villages in Kutch in Gujarat after the powerful earthquake hit the state in 2001. The Mr. Perfect of Bollywood had also visited Beed from Aurangabad and also appreciated the Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan of Maharashtra government.

On the work front, the 51-year-old actor is awaiting the release of his next film “Dangal” under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars Aamir Khan portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.
