Mumbai: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is on a roll ! After making a “Jazbaa” comeback, the actress bagged another biggie in her kitty. Aishwarya has been approached for Sujoy Ghosh next film “Durga Rani Singh” and she signed the dotted line.
The actress already has two prestigious films after signing “Jazbaa”. She will be seen in Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and Omung Kumar’s “Sarabjit”. In an interview with a leading media house, the actress confirmed the news. The movie is expected to be based on a true story of a female police officer.
Earlier, the makers approached Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor for the lead role but finally roped in Aishwarya. Reports says that Irrfan Khan will be seen playing major role opposite Aishwarya.
At present, the former beauty queen is on cloud nine with the success of her comeback film. Mrs. Bachchan is expected to join of shoot of her next movie “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
