The Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bacchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai had been admitted to the Lilavati hospital, in Mumbai a fortnight ago. But according to sources, his condition became critical on Tuesday night when he was shifted to the ICU.
Suffering from cancer previously, it might have resurfaced, according to speculations. However, nothing has been confirmed by the actress and her publicist made a statement saying, “Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj Rai has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra.” Providing his wife with some moral support was Abhishek Bachchan by her side and so was Aishwarya’s father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan. Micky Contractor, the famous makeup artist, was also by their side during these tough times.
On the work front, Aishwarya is riding high with her comeback through “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and it is rumored that Abhishek and Aishwarya will be seen on the screen again after a gap of 7 years with “Gulab Jamun” under Phantom Films productions.
