The air is buzzing with the electrifying zing of Sonakshi’s Akira. The movie is all set to release today and it is already creating positives vibes. Well, why would it not with all the ingredients it has to make it a big hit! So we have complied a list of reasons as to why you can buy that XL popcorn and munch away while watching the femme fatale – Akira!
- The Director – Come on, a movie by the brains behind some of the biggest hits like Ghajini and Holiday it ought to be good! A. R. Murgadoss knows his craft and we are waiting to what magic has he weaved this time.
- The Concept – Akira is the remake of the Tamil film ‘Mouna Guru’ which was rated a 7.5 on IMDb. Add some Bollywood masala and Sonakshi’s dynamic presence – it is sure to be something different from the weekly mass entertainers if nothing else.
- The Leading Lady – This film, fortunately, actual has a leading lady and not just a glam doll. We are talking about Sonakshi Sinha taking on the man’s world single-handedly. She is one of the very few who can carry the entire responsibility of the film on her shoulder. And Bollywood can never be short of women-centric films.
- The Action – With packed punches and action scenes that will make you go ‘Whoa!’, this movie shows the tougher side of a woman. And Sonakshi is bound to deliver on the promise!
- The Cameo – We hear that Akshay Kumar is doing a cameo in this film, now that’s like adding in another layer of flavour which can only enhance the impact. We have seen Akshay and Sonakshi on screen before and they haven’t disappointed us yet. So here’s hoping for this one too.
- The Escape – If all fails, you know that you will have a decent movie to watch, if not a superb one, owning to the abysmal fall of ‘A Flying Jatt’ at the box office. So atleast one movie to look forward to this week!
Sonakshi has said that this movie ‘came at the right time’ for her. Well we hope that it comes at the right time for us and the box office collections too. Either ways, we are waiting to see the weight of Akira’s stunts on the silver screen.
