Mumbai: For the first time, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen together in an upcoming project of Zoya Akhtar. Recently, the duo made headlines with their pairing for an advertisement and now, the couple has been roped in for romantic lead roles.
Earlier, there were reports that Ranbir Kapoor might play lead role in the forthcoming film but the director has brought Ranveer on board. It is heard that the director Zoya and Ranveer are good friends as they worked together for “Dil Dadakne Do”. Recently, the energetic star of Bollywood also attended a dinner at Zoya’s residence.
Currently, Ranveer is busy with the shoot of his much-hyped flick “Befikre” under the direction of Aditya Chopra. On the other hand, Ali Bhatt is basking on the success of her recent outing “Kapoor & Sons”.
