Mumbai: Looks like filmmaker Anurag Kashyap didn’t forget his fiasco with the Censor Board yet. During a show, he commented on the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson, Pahlaj Nihalani. He joked that if he ever woke up as Pahlaj Nihalani, he would die of shame. The movie maker also added that if ever became the chairperson of CBFC, he would put an end to the organisation.
A few days before, Anurag Kashyap’s film titled, “Udta Punjab” made headlines with its spat with the Censor Board. The Board demanded 89 cuts and also instructed to remove ‘Punjab’ from the title. However, the Bombay High Court cleared it with just one cut and also added that there is no need to change the title.
Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Dilijit Dosanjh, the film was directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The movie opened to packed houses and earned well at the ticket windows.
