The Aryan Khan Drug case update took a turn after a special Court denied bail for after today’s hearing.  On the 13th of October, the High Court rejected his bail plea and put the matter for the 14th of October. However, the matter would be heard by the special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances ( NDPS) Court Mumbai, for the next day, the 14th October, Thursday. 

In yesterday’s hearing, the HC put a hold on the judgement of judicial custody to Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and others arrested in the Mumbai cruise drug case.   The other people arrested in the drug case along with Aryan Khan are Arbaaz Merchant, Mohak Jaswal, Nupur Satija and Munmun Dhamecha. 

On the 3rd of October, Aryan Khan, 23 years old, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials for his involvement in a drugs related case.  Aryan Khan was arrested with seven others during a raid at a cruise party, where drugs were available and consumed.  The raid started at 10 A.M., on Sunday night and continued till 2:00 P.M.  After the intensified search, the anti drug agency found Aryan Khan was involved.  Initially Aryan Khan and others were under the NCB custody, but on the 7th of October, all the accused were remanded to judicial custody.  They are currently in the Arthur Jail, Mumbai, Maharashtra. 

Aryan Khan has been booked under Sections 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 8C (produce, manufacture, possess, sell or purchase of drugs) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS.) 

In addition, the NCB is continuing their investigation and grilled Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan and his driver with questions related to the matter.  The investigation in the drug matter is underway. 

The next hearing is scheduled on the 14th of October, 11:00 A.M.
