Mumbai: The all new look of Emraan Hashmi from his upcoming film “Azhar” is out. It seems the actor has got into the skin of the character as he nailed the look of Mohammad Azharuddin and photograph is looking engaging. “Azhar” is a biopic on the former Team India captain, Mohammad Azharuddin.
The film based on cricket is being directed by Tony D’Souza and was scripted by Rajat Aroraa. The regular shooting is underway and is progressing well. At present, the shooting is going on in full swing in London at the Derbyshire County Cricket Club. It is heard that the Azhar is also present to give in his inputs during the shoot. Ace movie maker Ekta Kapoor is producing the flick.
Actress Prachi Desai has been roped in opposite Emraan as his wife, Naureen. According to reports, the actress is on a vacation in London and is expected to start the shoot once she returns.
The film is expected to show Azhar’s affair and marriage to actress Sangeeta Bijlani. The search for the actress is still underway and reports say that starlet Jacqueline Fernandez has been zeroed in for the role.However, there is no official confirmation in this regard. The biopic is slated for release on May 13, 2016.
