Hyderabad: Looks like, Tollywood ‘Natasimham’ Balakrishna is eyeing for an Oscar. On Monday, the family members of Balakrishna and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu celebrated the first birthday of their grandson, Nara Devansh. The birthday bash was a star-studded one.
If reports are to be believed, the actor said that he is hoping for an Oscar with his upcoming film. The actor added that he will be seen playing the historic role of Gautamiputra Satakarni in the movie and he is also growing moustache for the role. Balakrishna further added that he is confident that the movie will definitely win an Oscar.
Filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi will direct the movie. Touted to be a period drama, the movie is based on the Satavahana ruler, King Satakarni, whose capital was Amaravati.
