Mumbai: Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan has been zeroed in to lend his voice to the prologue of the show – “Beauty and the Beast”. Earlier, the 73-year-old actor has lent his voice for several projects.
According to reports, the makers of the show approached movie maker Siddharth Roy Kapur for Amitabh’s voice. Siddharth is the one, who roped in Amitabh Bachchan on board. He approached the Big B and made him listen to the prologue from the original Broadway production. After listening to it, the super star gave his nod for the project.
The show is a new kind of entertainment as it is gearing up to impress the audience alive on stage with world class techniques, impressive sets and expensive costumes. It will be of 130 minutes in duration and the production will be in English. This year, the selected shows will be held across Delhi and Mumbai from October to December.
