Hyderabad: Mega star Chiranjeevi is prepping up for his much-anticipated 150th film, which is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster “Kaththi”. Being directed by V.V. Vinayak, the movie is tentatively titled “Kathilantodu”. Now, if reports are to be believed, the movie makers approached actress Anushka Shetty for romantic lead role.
“Anushka has already been approached and she has also given her verbal consent. However, she is yet to officially sign on the dotted line. Since she has two more Telugu projects in her kitty, she is figuring out dates to allocate,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
Recently, the movie was launched and the pre-production work is underway. The regular shooting of the film will begin in June. The most-talked-about movie will be produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan.
