Mumbai: Former love birds, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, are painting the town red! The couple, who is often compared to successful duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, stuck to spotlight for their amazing on-screen chemistry. Deepika defended her ex-love and said that he always delivers his best because his heart lies in his work.
The actor tasted duds at the box office with his recent films – “Besharam”, “Roy” and “Bombay Velvet”. Ranbir said that he has the desire to prove himself again. With this, the actress said that there’s nothing to prove when it comes to an actor as talented as him.
The starlet said, “Every individual goes through ups and downs. The intention is never to make a flop film. I haven’t come across anyone more passionate about films and acting. The intention is always in the right direction, his heart is in the right place.”
“It’s just that sometime and somewhere the execution goes wrong, sometimes maybe the way the script is interpreted by a director doesn’t work, or maybe sometimes the story is not relevant at a certain point. So for various reasons, a film may not click at one point. For that, you can’t question his intention or talent. He should be given a fair chance, irrespective of anything,” she added.
The much-loved couple is gearing up for their upcoming movie “Tamasha“, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set for a grand release on November 27, 2015.
