Mumbai: Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai in the early hours of Tuesday. He was hospitalized after falling off a motorbike. He fractured jaw and his condition is said to be stable. He might undergo a plastic surgery later in the day, according to reports.
The doctor Jalil Parkar, who is treating the director, said that Hirani has no life-threatening injuries. The movie maker is expected to be discharged soon.
The incident took place when the director is riding a new Royal Enfield Bullet in the wee hours of Tuesday. Though, he was riding the motorbike at a low speed, he couldn’t manage the weight and fell off.
Rajkumar Hirani, who rose to fame with movie “Munna Bhai MBBS”, and delivered many super hits like “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”, “3 Idiots” and “PK”.
