Hyderabad: The city celebrated the first ever IIFA Utsavam on January 24 and 25 in style. The mega event was a grand success with all A-listers in attendance. The best were honoured at the beautiful night. On January 25, the event celebrated and honoured the best talent of Telugu and Kannada cinema. The nights of 2-day event are a must watch one as the air was filled with loads of achievements, fashion and acceptance speeches.
In 2015, Tollywood’s Prince Mahesh Babu amazed and inspired the audience with his blockbuster hit “Srimanthudu“. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie stars Shruti Haasan in a romantic lead role opposite Mahesh for the first time. The complete family entertainer won appreciations from the audience for the work done by the cast and crew. The film bagged six awards at the IIFA Utsavam and beat magnum opus “Baahubali”.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the period drama stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna and others in important roles. The picture is a perfect mixture of all commercial elements and was a super hit at the box office.
