John Abraham injured, admitted to hospital

Mumbai: Bollywood actor John Abraham met with an accident and injured his knee, earlier this week. The accident occurred in Budapest during the shoot of his upcoming film. While shooting the action sequences, John injured his knee and he was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Movie maker Vipul Shah confirmed the news and said that while shooting the action sequence, John was injured. The incident took place when John tried to break the door and when he managed to do it, he injured his knee in the process. He also added that John was immediately admitted to the hospital where the clots that he had developed as a result of the injury, were removed.

The director also stated that the actor had been advised rest for three days but insisted on resuming the shoot. He added that they had to rush him to the hospital again as the injury became worse when they began shooting again. He said that a minor surgery was done on his knee. The shooting was halted as John is taking rest for four days.

Keeping John’s health in mind, only dialogue sequences will shot and they won’t be shooting the rest of the action scenes as it isn’t advisable for John. The unit is expected to return India in mid October.

“Force 2” is an upcoming action entertainer and is a sequel of 2011 “Force”. Actress SOnakshi Sinha will be seen playing romantic lead role opposite John in the film. Abhinay Deo is directing and Vipul Amrutlal Shah is producing the commercial flick.
