Hyderabad: Young tiger NTR is back in the game with his recent heart-touching film “Nannaku Prematho”. The film hit silver screens as a Pongal feast to the audience and managed to collect over Rs.30 crore worldwide in the first three days since the release.
Film trade analyst Trinath said, “Despite mixed reviews, the film managed to collect over Rs.30 crore in the first three days worldwide. It is expected to gross over Rs.50 crore in the opening weekend.”
Sanjay of CineGalaxy Inc, the overseas distributor of the film said, “It has raked in over Rs.4 crore ($717,763) in just two days. It’s performing extremely well and is running to packed houses.”
Directed by Sukumar, the movie is one of the much-talked-about projects in the Telugu film industry and is centered around the emotional relationship between father and son. Actress Rakul Preet Singh is seen playing a romantic role opposite Jr NTR. Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu also played an important role in the picture.
