Kangana Ranaut’s Father: Her Birth Wasn’t celebrated

Mumbai: One of the successful actresses in the B-town, Kangana Ranaut managed to make a mark with her bold statements and confessions. The beauty hit limelight when she said that she was the ‘unwanted child’ in her family. Now, her father Amardeep Ranaut said that Kangana’s birth wasn’t celebrated in their house.

He said that when Kangana was born, it was more like a funeral and was not a celebration. He added that the villagers used to come and say, “Oh, now a daughter again.”

Mr. Ranaut said that there was no celebration, nor did they distribute sweets. He also said that they were hoping as they had lost son, another son would come back.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli said that When Kangana was born, there was no joy and celebration and she remembers when she was born, their relatives used to come and call her by a word, which in ‘pahadi’ means unwanted. Rangoli added that She was so sensitive that these things influenced her and things have still not changed there and that’s why they are supporting this cause.”
