Leonardo DiCaprio was only attacked, not raped by bear in The Revenant

Fox studios has issued a statement disproving rumors that star Leonardo DiCaprio was raped by a bear in his upcoming movie, The Revenant.
The statement released by the studio said that the 41-year-old actor was attacked by a female bear which was protecting, US magazine reported.

The titanic actor will also portray the role of real-life frontiersman Hugh Glass in film, was attacked by a bear while depicting the scene during an 1823 expedition of the American wilderness.

Earlier, there was abuzz that the actor’s character Glass was brutally attacked by a bear who reportedly then flips him over on his back and proceeds to molest him.

Helmed by Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez, the forthcoming adventure-thriller film will also star actors Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter among others and is slated to hit US theaters on December 25, 2015.
