Hyderabad: Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu gifted an expensive car to the filmmaker Koratala Siva. Recently, the duo delivered a blockbuster at the box office with the movie “Srimanthudu”. As a token of appreciation and gratitude, Super star Mahesh Babu gifted a brand new Audi A6 to the director.
A source close to the actor revealed the news. The source said that the actor was happy with the success of the film “Srimanthudu” so he gifted an Audi A6 car to Koratala Siva.
The movie “Srimanthudu” was a recent sensation at the ticket windows across the globe. The family entertainer managed to collect Rs 200 crore worldwide. The picture also emerged as the second highest grosser in Telugu film industry after the super hit period drama “Baahubali”, directed by Rajamouli.
“Srimanthudu” features Shruthi Haasan in a romantic lead role opposite Mahesh for the first time as his lady love. Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu was seen in the movie playing a prominent role.
