Mumbai: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee will be honoured with prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for delivering brilliant performance in the movie “Aligarh”, directed by Hansal Mehta. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday.
Film director Hansal Mehta took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and announced the news. He wrote, “Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the Best Actor (Critics’ Choice) to @BajpayeeManoj for his portrayal of Professor Ramchandra Siras in #Aligarh.”
Manoj Bajpayee also tweeted, “Thank you for your tremendous appreciation and love. Feeling extremely honoured.”
B-Town is also happy with his award. On their official twitter handles, celebs poured their best wishes for his win.
