Morgan Freeman’s Granddaughter E’Dena Hines Stabbed To Death

Los Angeles: E’Dena Hines, the granddaughter of Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman, has died in New York on early Sunday morning. She was 33. According to police, they responded and found Hines in the street outside her home on the 400 block of W 162nd Street at around 3 am. When she was found, Hines was suffering from several stab wounds to her torso.

She was immediately admitted to a hospital and there she was pronounced dead. Hines was the granddaughter of Morgan Freeman’s first wife. The 78-year-old Morgan mourned her death. The police took a 30-year-old man, who believed to be her boyfriend, into custody at the spot. The police investigation in underway.

Morgan statement says, “The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”

He added, “I want to acknowledge the tremendous outpouring of love and support my family has received regarding the tragic and senseless passing of my granddaughter Edena Hines. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
